Schools and youth-oriented organizations now have the opportunity to access affordable enterprise learning technology to help high school and college students develop leadership skills and emotional intelligence that promote their success in high school, college, and in the workforce.

The total duration is equivalent to 50 clock-hours of training or 5.0 Continuing Education Units (CEU). Leadership skills include but are not limited to: motivation, self discipline, effective communication, understanding human behavior and interaction, time management, team building, project planning, problem solving, conflict and stress management, and critical thinking skills as it relates to individuals and groups.

Students participate in two levels of online leadership training:

1. Youth Leadership Development - Series 1 (25 clock hours)
2. Youth Leadership Development - Series 2 (25 clock hours)

A mentor or instructor can be present in the elearning environment and observe participation. Continuing Education Units (CEU) and Continuing Professional Education (CPE) are granted upon successful completion of each certification. A digital certificate and an online transcript of performance are issued to the student when each course is completed successfully. Student enrollment information and progress reports, including CEU and certification completion, are provided through online reports to the relevant administrative bodies. We highly recommend volunteer hours with a designated organization be promoted as follow-up to the certificate. This is at the discretion of the administrative body.

• Students can take a knowledge and skills competency evaluation to determine individual strengths and gaps and receive recommendations of training they need to take.
• Progress reports are available for submission to agencies that provide funding for programs.
• Courses are available 24/7 from any computer with Internet access.
• Courses are specifically designed to develop personal and social competencies.
• Students can work at their own pace or in a group/lab environment.
• Students enjoy the animations integrated into the courses.
• Students share their thoughts with peers through the online discussion forum.
• Students earn up to 5.0 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
• Students can add these Leadership Certifications to college applications and resumes.
